Outside of work, I am active in the civic life of the City of London.  I am a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of World Traders, one of the 110 livery companies of the City, whose origins go back 1,000 years to the ancient trade guilds, and which now foster their trades in a wider context, organise various social events and support a variety of charitable and educational causes.
